The End of Boblox.

Hello Bobloxians, it is Encarcelador now talking, and I have a serious announcement to make.

You might have noticed this subtle detail in the title, specifically where it says "BOBLOX is DEAD". Boblox dead? Are we living in a dystopian world? And yes, this time it is true. No april fools BS and absolutely no chance of coming back from part of the owner, Encarcelador.

But why is this? There are several reasons that can explain why I have decided to end support for this website, and I'll be listing them on this last Boblox Blog article.

1.- Lack of interest on admin-side.

Let's be honest. There has not been absolutely any move on this website for YEARS. Boblox was far already dead in 2023 long before this post was published. It is nothing new that Boblox would end like this. What are admins and me, the owner, doing to improve Boblox? Absolutely nothing.

2.- Failure to revive Boblox.

I'll admit it. It's mostly my fault that this website did not succeed. Poor management from my side led to many unfulfilled promises and many disappointments, that came along with "attempts" of reviving this far-dead website. Our history preceeds us, and we can't keep pretending that Boblox has any future with these promises.

3.- Incidents that led to Boblox Forum Shutdown.

To understand this desition, we have to go back to 2022. We already had many fatal wounds on our website. The John Incident that led to the forum being completely wiped, unfair bans that made many people leave, and the final incident, a crime that was commited on the Boblox forum by spam bots that we took a month to erase.

4.- Nothing lasts forever.

Boblox was a parody website made and managed by a bunch young teenagers and had a community of such people. Some of us are not so young anymore. The idea of Boblox was made in Brick-Hill, a website that shut down last year, and many people from that website came here and did not stay for long. It was not meant to be a serious thing, never.

As a last note, I would like to thank you and apologize to people that spent their time working and developing projects for Boblox such as the client and the forums, and I wanted to specially apologize to a certain Clock, for his effort on a multiplayer client has been a notably huge one, and Osti, you also were interested in developing on the client for Boblox, and ultimately, a huge thanks to the original admins, that I won't name here for privacy reasons, but did their best to keep the website up and active.

Finally, a huge thanks to all the users that have followed along our way since the very beginnings, and the new ones, who had the poor luck of joining this website while on its unfortunate state.

The Boblox website will remain active as an archive, but will not receive any updates in the future. The Discord will stay up for as long as the community wants, but do not expect any new events or official announcements regarding Boblox.
